Terms of use

Izborna mapa BiH is run by podaci.org, a project of UD Velvict, a sole proprietorship in Zenica. The site is not the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CIK BiH) and is not affiliated with it, nor with any party or candidate. The official results of elections are those CIK BiH publishes at izbori.ba.

The numbers are CIK's: they are downloaded and archived exactly as published, and the database is built from that archive. Still:

• preliminary results change with every publication of CIK until they are final;
• projected seats are a calculation by CIK's rules, not CIK's allocation;
• the position of a polling station on the map is approximate, as CIK publishes no coordinates;
• the site itself links candidacies from different elections, so namesakes can be wrongly joined.

The site is provided “as is”, without any warranty that it is accurate, complete or available. For official and legal purposes, CIK's data is authoritative. More about the numbers is on the page Integracije (in Bosnian).

You may freely use, publish and share the numbers, pictures and links of the site, with attribution: “Source: CIK BiH, processed by Izborna mapa BiH (izbori.podaci.org)”. With the positions of polling stations, also credit “© OpenStreetMap contributors”.

Candidates and parties may publish their thank-you card. Do not present the numbers or pictures as official data of CIK, and do not alter them to say something other than the site does.

The MCP server at izbori.podaci.org/mcp is public, free and read-only; it is the way to the data for programs and AI assistants. The other addresses under /api/ serve the pages of the site only and are not open to other programs.

The server handles a limited number of calls at a time; when it is busy, the tool says so, and the call should be repeated in a few seconds. Do not circumvent the limits or overload the server; we may restrict or block access that endangers the site. Tools may change, and every change is recorded under “Promjene” (changes) on the page Integracije.

The MCP server provides the numbers; the answer is written by the AI assistant, which can get the numbers wrong or misread them. We are not responsible for what an assistant writes. The link with an answer opens the same view on the map, where the numbers can be checked.

The site supports no party or candidate. Order follows the numbers, and the colours are the parties' own.

A report should be truthful, without insults and without other people's personal data; we cannot promise to answer every one. Report a security vulnerability to [email protected], not publicly, until it is fixed.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damage arising from the use of the site, its pictures or the MCP server, or from decisions based on them.

The site may be unavailable, changed or discontinued without notice. Changes to these terms are published on this page, with a new date at the top; using the site after that means you accept them.
